It’s a big week for regular TBAAG contributor, Troy Nankervis, with the Australian television debut of two high-profile productions he worked on.
Tonight on ABC 1 sees the premiere of docudrama, The Extraordinary Tale of William Buckley, filmed during Troy’s stint in the production office of December Films.
Wednesday on Seven sees the long awaited premiere of HBO Spielberg/Hanks extravaganza The Pacific, follow up to the outstanding Band of Brothers. Troy worked in the special effects department during the production. From the looks of it, there was gore aplenty to be wrangled on this particular shoot.
Meanwhile, Troy’s drama pilot Wasted will be in the running for the big prizes at the MTV Optus One80Project Festival in Hyde Park Sydney next weekend. Fingers, toes and earlobes crossed for this one.
Seriously, how good is Troy?
