BAAGer Matthew has continued his winning streak by taking out the top prize in the Action/Adventure category of the Reno Film Festival’s synopsis competition, with his pitch The Insanist, a Steven Seagal vehicle if ever we heard of one.
While the other member of TBAAG’s writing team can’t manage to secure funds and accolades with projects she devises “for-serious”, Matthew manages to win a US competition with a title that is NOT EVEN A REAL WORD.
But hey. We’re happy for him.
The latest win tops off an exciting start of the year for Matthew who was also a top 10 finalist in the comedy section of the US Storypros Screenplay Contest with Get Black.
Get Black received development funding from Screen Australia and was also a finalist in last year’s Page International Screenwriting awards.

I think the rest of the TBAAG team needs to get over the fact that words not in the dictionary, can and do make the big time. Indeed, I just googled The Insanist and look how popular it is: http://bit.ly/bTWTVU
TBAAG should be delighted its website has been optimised (to number 1 positioning) by what is obviously an amazing piece of work.

In my haste to report the good news, I provided the wrong Url to show optimisation:

So constantly Googling my own work has really paid off.
