We create comedy and Genre content for Film, TV & Online

Touched by an Angle Grinder is screenwriting and creative duo Greta Harrison and Matthew C. Vaughan, based in Melbourne, Australia. We've created award-winning television, film and online projects.

Greta and Matthew spend their waking hours dreaming up comedy and genre stories, when they’re not googling dog videos (Greta) and Mark “Jacko” Jackson facts (Matthew).

They wrote the award-winning thriller series Event Zero (2012), which they have adapted into a feature-length project for Deadrock Films and French network Black Pills. Co-financed by Screen Australia, Event Zero is set for a 2017 release.

The pair created and starred in Touched By An Angle Grinder, a short sketch series selected for Screen Australia and ABC’s Fresh Blood comedy initiative. They also wrote for the animated series Jar Dwellers SOS (Network Ten and ABC).

Recently, Matthew wrote two seasons of the children’s comedy adventure series Bertram Poppingstock: Problem Solver, which screened on ABC ME.

A political journalist turned screenwriter, Greta has written for TV comedy including Good News Week (Network Ten).

Matthew and Greta recently produced the surreal horror feature Cat Sick Blues (starring Matthew as the lead). The film won Best Australian Feature at both MonsterFest and A Night of Horror, and is distributed by Monster Pictures.

Currently they are co-developing the children’s comedy series Captain Cogg for Pickle Pictures and ABC ME.

Their screenplays have been finalists in international contests including Script Pipeline and PAGE. They are Australians in Film Gateway LA Finalists for 2017.

Hire them. They make good muffins.
