We create comedy and Genre content for Film, TV & Online
TBAAG (Touched by an Angle Grinder) is an Australian screenwriting and creative duo Greta Harrison and Matthew C. Vaughan, now based in Los Angeles. We've created award-winning television, film and online projects.
Greta and Matthew wrote the thriller Event Zero for Deadrock Films and Rockzeline, released internationally by VICE in the USA and released in cinemas across Australia in 2017.
The pair created and starred in Touched By An Angle Grinder, a short sketch series selected for Screen Australia and ABC’s Fresh Blood comedy initiative. They are also writers for the animated series Jar Dwellers SOS (ELEVEN and ABC).
Matthew wrote two seasons of the children’s comedy adventure series Bertram Poppingstock: Problem Solver, which screened on ABC ME.
A political journalist turned screenwriter, Greta has written for TV comedy including Good News Week (Network Ten).
Matthew and Greta produced the surreal horror feature Cat Sick Blues (starring Matthew as the lead). The film won Best Australian Feature at both MonsterFest and A Night of Horror.
Currently they are co-developing the children’s comedy series Captain Cogg for Pickle Pictures.
Their screenplays have been recognised by international contests including Script Pipeline, PAGE, CineStory and the Academy Nicholl Fellowship. They are Australians in Film Gateway LA Finalists for 2017.
