Having recently relocated to Los Angeles, it was exciting to discover our comedy pilot My Fist Your Face was selected for the CineStory TV/Digital Retreat in Idyllwild, California. We had an amazing time working with fellow writers and mentors in a gorgeous mountain setting. We thoroughly recommend applying to their screenwriting labs.
The kind folks at LiveRead LA and Australians in Film also recently selected My Fist Your Face for their April live read in front of an audience at the Charlie Chaplin Theater at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles. Thanks to the incredible cast who brought the script to life, and the audience for such invaluable feedback.
We're happy to learn that our comedy pilot Easy, Tiger has been selected for the AWG's Pathways Showcase.
Easy, Tiger is a horror/comedy and a very Tasmanian take on the werewolf myth. Here's the logline:
A journalist is faced with a hairy situation: she discovers she's part Tasmanian tiger. Now she must lead a double-life to put her town off the scent and find a cure.
The script was also recently awarded Highly Commended in the AWG / ABC Laugh Out Loud contest.

We're thrilled that our comedy pilot script My Fist Your Face has been announced as one of eight scripts on the 2017 Aussie List, as part of Australians in Film's Gateway LA program.
My Fist is a project we've been developing for a couple of years, first born out of the ABC Fresh Blood comedy initiative. The script then went on to be a finalist in the 2015 Script Pipeline screenwriting contest and a Screencraft Pilot Launch quarterfinalist.
We're excited to announce the official trailer has landed for Australian political thriller feature film and series, Event Zero from Deadrock Films, Rockzeline and Black Pills, supported by Screen Australia.

We're thrilled to be co-developing a new children's comedy series with our excellent producer pal Michael de Robbio at Pickle Pictures. It's currently titled Captain Cogg and will feature silliness and awesome robots. The project has received development support from the kind folks at the ABC and the Australian Children's Television Foundation. Further details at Pickle Pictures.
Event Zero will have its Australian premiere as the closing night film of the Gold Coast Film Festival on April 30 2017.
